According to the Dogs website Matty Fox has left the Rams.If this is true then that is a huge blow before the season has started!! If this is so then are the club going to replace him? because that will leave us short on centres.Looks like we are going to struggle this season with the way things have gone over the past couple of weeks.

Its a shame if true.He would have been head and shoulders above anybody on the field at the weekend.Unlucky not to score hat trick at Widnes.

Also sems a bit wierd that there is no mention of him being injured and no mention of him playing.If he has left the club then why no news on a replacement??

At the "Meet the Players" evening someone mentioned his name was missing from the list and we were told it was an oversight, but was (I think) squad number 30. It was also suggested that he couldn't be officially signed until Janiary when his commitments to Wakefield ceased.

I heard Matty Fox is no longer at the Rams. He failed to re-sign this season saying he had a young family and wanted to spend more time with them. He then promptly signed for Wakefield academy. Unfortunate, but if he doesn't want to play for us there is little you can do. I find it really strange why the club hasn't anounced anything?
