I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Same to you and isn't it nice to see others saying Swinton and Town will be two teams to watch this season. We've both had our share of the doldrums over the past 6 or 7 years so let's go for 1 and 2.

No I haven't got it. I retired at a time when they took everything from you but anyhow I haven't the puff now to blow one. Best wishes for the new season ( except against us obviously)
