One of the most interesting names in that squad for me is Sam Orange. Sam is an ex Acorn junior who was also in the YCK scholarship for a couple of seasons before joining Cas. He always looked a bit of a stand out player, and he must be about 18 now. If he gets to play I'm sure he'll relish the chance to play against his hometown club.

Tigers squad announced.
Richard Mathers, Nick Youngquest, Joe Arundel, Jordan Thompson, Kirk Dixon, Rangi Chase, Danny Orr, Jacob Emmitt, Ryan Hudson, Jonathan Walker, Oliver Holmes, John Davies, Adam Milner, Jack Smith, Sam Orange, Greg Eden, Ryan Brierley, Ben Blackmore, Joe Picketts, Billy Harris, Daryl Clark.
Very strong line up with Mathers, Hudson and Orr included. Should make for a decent crowd and half the profits to York, so lets turn up in droves at only £10 a go.

Adam Milner will be a star of the future - one to watch.

Think we had a few ex Fev lads around that time Tony, Barry Hollis, Rhodes, Mal Dixon and Arnie Morgan.

What right have a West Yorkshire club have in targeting schools, etc that the Knights development team are already involved with? Sounds a bit naughty to me, or is this a linked scheme to involve a Super League Club and bolster youngsters involved with the local amateur clubs?

Cas - Sunday
It is my expectation to start at a Super League ground tomorrow - divert to a Premier League ground at Blackpool in July and finish the year at another Super League ground, the Halliwell Jones,Warrington,in October, seeing York City Knights each time.
Now,does anyone have the heads-up on who will be skippering the YCK side tomorrow ?

Typical York press, they interview a bloke who has left already, or is about to leave, the Knights!!! Shouldn't it have said "ex" before his job title?

The Knights development 'chief', either Andy or Adam Prentice I think, has either left or is leaving so I've heard. Shame, he seems a decent lad.
