Ulverston 'A' 30 v Walney 'A' 16 (ht 18-10)
Tight game where the first 20 mins proved to be pivitol, Ulverston raced into an 18-0 lead through a combination of some good play and some poor defence from Walney. Walney responded and got it back to 18-10 at half time, earlier pressure in the first 15-20 minutes of the second half failed to bring Walney any more points and Ulverston capitilised with 2 converted tries midway through the half, Walney scored a consolation try late on.
All in all a good advert for the B&D league.
