Yes it is about time, but it's not all down to the club.

Fantastic news, well done Gary.
Lets hope he has a nice easy season at Fullback while the rest of our team are playing their new style of expansive rugby!

Broadbents signature gives us a current squad size of 21 (including Baeur)..
possible starting line-up?
Broadbent
Ballard
Baeur
Harrison
Nixon
Rooney
Campbell
James
Mossop
Thackary
Knowles
Catic
Luisi
---------
Gleeson
Ostler
McDermott
Fletcher
Res: Butler, Larkin, Coyle, Dixon.
Still feel another 2/3 signings would be ideal, but already very good 17 & the squad is beginning to shape up nicely.

the cream always rises to the top. well done gary for sticking with your home town , you have nothing to proove. your name will be up in the raiders bar hall of fame when your an old man. a true legend in the modern game in my opinion. the team will gain a lot more balanceas i see it and andy ballard will be the first to shake your hand. hes a winger and that is were he should be playing.

good signing, think he wanted to wait untill his cumbria coaching duties could be sorted or something? before deciding on his future.
Good work.

I think he wanted a bit longer off and no pre season. I mean come on this guy has been doing pre season for years. On the plus side he keeps himself in tiptop shape anyway.
