I would go with the following experimental line-up:
1. Sean Carmody
2. Tom Bush
3. Dan Fairclough
4. Dave Sutton
5. Dennis Tuffour
6. Mark Barlow
7. Scott Woods
8. Jack Stearman
9. Chris Williams
10. Davey Burns
11. Matt Barron
12. Rhys Clarke
13. Lee Waterman
14. Tom Holmes
15. Ash Winstanley
16. Kristian Brining
17. Paul Stamp
18. Matt Garside
Plus I am sure a few others

Unless Scott Woods has improved massively since last season he should be nowhere near the first team. I couldn't make it to Cas today so didn't see him there, but the couple of times I saw him last season he looked woeful and nothing like the level the team play at. I really hope this isn't a case of the coaches son being picked because he's the coaches son. And before anyone starts bleating, I appreciate the kid got smashed unfairly down in Wales, but that doesn't necessarily make him worth another chance.

AG, you should have bought pre-season friendly tickets at £30 for 4 games. Even if you missed one; still only a tenner each game. (Or was Lanzarote in your plans ....again?)

Think £10 and £5 would be a fair price for watching second string players.

Think that from the Club point of view, word has got out, right or wrong, that it's Cas's second string.
Given that, having watched them in the second half on Sunday, they are a lot better watch than some of the opposition we came up against last season.
You'll be watching Messrs Clark, Milner, Brierley and Eden on Sky Super League next season, if not later this season.

On the Cas website it is classed as an Under 20's game.
It has to be well supported as it is the future ; not only of the game but also the future of York City Knights.
Without people through the turnstiles there ain't no money and without money there ain't any Rangi Chase type players able to be brought to the club,so the club has to produce their own.
This is what the Cas website has to say
My first scapegoat, the person who I really, really blame is an Australian named David Woods. He left the structures in place for that club to go forward. He is to blame for having personalities at that club who are excellent and progressive. The 10th paragraph is the best link I can find On This

We will get beaten by Cas U20.
And then the inquest begins after two defeats in two games.

Craig
Why do you always post in the negative context ? This one particularly, what did you honestly expect us to do in these games? Our lads hadn't even been on a field together til last sunday, Cas were very very good andhave clearly been training hard as full timers can.
Club is trying to progress and whilst everyone is fully entitled to their views I think your doom & gloom is somewhat premature.

The benefits of a friendly game pre-season seems lost on you.....

Hi John. Did you want to go today ? If you needed a lift, just ask in future.
I think it finished 40-26 to Cas but, to be honest, I didnt take a deal of notice late on. Young Clark scored for Cas in the dying seconds to take them to 40. 16-16 at half time.
