Luke Blake and Rob Spicer

Says in League Express that Luke could be out around six weeks,may even need a op,also Rob could be out for two weeks.I know we need these games at the start of the year,but its looking like the same problems as last year.Bet Warren is pulling out his hair.

Warren has been quoted in the two local rags as being doubtful about the benefits of pre season friendlies, even if they do balance the books, but given the relative injuries to Spicer and Blake, he might be better asking the same question about pre match warm ups. How the hell did it happen anyway?

In the warm up at Batley one of our players went down and was helped off. Was this Luke Blake?

Yes, that was Luke Blake and seen later with strapping around his knee as he walked towards the dugout.
