Good news as we were desperate for another half back. When Ashe played alongside Roden last year he was very good it was only when Neil didn't play that Ashey struggled which hopefully he can improve upon this year.
We should have a real good go at the league now.

Would have liked to have seen some new blood but nobody available now? (Hemingway?)
Ashe started last season pretty well, but went off a bit as season progressed. Not thrilled about signing, but better than current options at scrum half

Matty can kick goals pass the ball superbly and a good distance, he can scoot as well, The only area of his game that needs a little work perhaps is defense/Tackling, (but you could say that about Gregg Mc), and a few others ive seen in his position over the years.
Ashe has flair and can improve especially under Tony Bensons man management, Im glad he`s back. Just need POC now and another big hitter in the pack...

Yeah Matty can do all the above but i must say seen matty do some good hits on a few last season , so not really much up with his defensive work , personally i think its great to have him back , respect to Mick Diveney but Dale kept him quiet and he went out of game almost straight off , Rats didnt look like he wanted to give him any ball time

Ashey's problem on defence is purely down to decision making. If a player runs straight at him he usually crunches them although he can miss some due to trying to hit them too hard. South Wales exposed him as they had two or three players running similar channels on his inside and outside and he couldn't make the correct decisons and they ran riot down that side. However he is better than the majority of half backs who plainly don't want to tackle.
Diveney looks excellent for the reserves and stands out regulary for them but he might take a bit longer to establish himself in the first team. No point rushing him yet.
