Just replying to Johnoco's post, it occured to me I first did this on John Drake's original Virtual Terrace in 1999.

Along with Paley, LobbyGobbler and John Drake, this means we have been on here a stupid amount of time and for a decent chunk of our lives. I have lived in four countries in that time with countless homes and jobs.

Anyone else coming to the frightening revelation that John's boards are one of th emost constant things in their lives?

Plus another 6 as rhubarbtriangulist
Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

I know I'm not exactly a prolific poster, but I started dipping in and out of here back in 2002! Nine years!!

1 Nov 2004 but I'd done the lurking for a few weeks before, wondering whether to log in. Only this board, none of it's previous guises. BoringProud to say only one user name

April 2004 - TRL was the first forum I ever joined.

I used to post on 13world.com before coming on here (well one of the earlier incarnations) around 2001.

The last government were convinced that we were there to do their bidding. They wasted vast quantities of our money in order to spy on us, intimidate us and needlessly over regulate us, whilst gold plating their own pensions and expenses. Their behind the scenes encouragement of, and turning a blind eye to, the kettling and harrassment tactics of the Police are a shameful episode in our history which we need to remember and address urgently. - Haloman

I remember when the VT was non registered and you could just post regardless. This was around 1997.

And originally on here, IIRC, there was only one Forum and everything went in there. JD then split it up into AOB etc about 2002.....?

I must have been there pretty much at the start. I guess I started posting regularly around 2003. I honestly can't remember. Always been MLP.

Been here from the very start, although it says 2006 on my profile. Before here I posted on playtheball.com and scrum.com. Didn't the dates all get screwed up on here when the site went through one of its many changes?

I joined the summerconference.net forum in 2000 and, I believe, joined TRL in 2002/03

Amazing to think you could spend this much time on a Fans Forum

Started out on rec.sport.rugby back in autumn 1994.

That was even before rec.sport.rugby.league was voted into existence.

That's me.  I'm done.

I used to use a Newsgroup, and there was a guy on there who called himself Mugwump, this would be about 1999. I started posting on here in my own name in 2002. When the forum changed about 2004 I changed my user name to Trojan, because it reflected where I now live - Troy. Which unfortunately is an anagram of Tory sad.gif

Joined when the paper version of TRL ended, or within a month or so(sometime 2001 ish?), didn't even have www then.
Probably met a few more members than I realise*, been here off and on through a few "interesting times", shall we say, from a personal point of view.

* and from this year, when my exile ends, I hope to meet a lot more.

Been goldcard as my main persona** from day 1, elsewhere I have another name on every site I register to.

** had a few others when allowed, bit was never rhubarbtriangulist, can't spell it.

Edit: spelling....
