you remember correctly
Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Interestingly enough there was a user called Wendall, and he/she was not quite so much of a bell end as the present one.

To be fair, I rather like crown green bowls so I don't get his point.

I find the scraping of geese to be morally offensive and an insult to our feathered friends. You sir, are a Mong.

I'm a goose that scrapes not a scraper of geese you scraperist. Scrape scrapeism out.

Oh and I did consider changing my name to TheInvisibleMong, no one could be offended by that surely, after all I would've been unseen.

I'm pretty sure that bulltigue changed his name to GavBT and continued posting on totalrl and lwos for a while. He was quite open about having some mental health issues and seemed to dissappear around 2004. He was a really nice bloke - I hope he was able to get himself together.

What became of Clive woody?
Was he banned?
Did he morph into an alter ego?

I think you mean 2001. A very interesting read. Some names that are still about, and some people much more polite then than they are now!

It must have been a good place to hang out back then.

oops where did i get 1999 from?

What does it mean
This tearjerking scene
Beamed into my home
That it moves me so much
Why all the fuss
It's only two humans being.

He married Frank Machin and the pair of them retired to North Wales where they put on Punch and Judy shows at weekends for the locals.

I've been here since about 2001/02. Found it through rugbywars, and I thought the topics here were more interesting. To be honest, Clive Woody and Paley's squabbles are what made me sign up.

Have met some great people through the board - Ed I Tackle and Bob 8, to name but a few.

Best moments - the party at the end of the old forum where we smashed the place up
- the clawfin and mobyclaw discussion
- Clive and Paley

, I remember the trashing of the old forum on closing day and I remember the lobster wars of Clawphin and MobyClaw.

Sorry, you got there first.

I also loved silent bob, though it took me a very long time to catch on.

I had forgotten League Freak, who was funny.

I also paid my tenner.

Thirded. Although I reckon League Publications Ltd does pretty well out of the google ads, a nominal payment would show appreciation for the hosting and moderating of the messageboards. I took advantage and enjoyed a subscription to the Rugby Times. biggrin.gif

I think you greatly overestimate how much GoogleAds pays out... They charge advertisers a fortune to advertise but pay hosting sites a tiny fraction, there's little confusion over where their $6.7bn revenue came from last year.

I joined in 2001. Or was it 2000. Brain is playing tricks on me in my old age.

Arguing with the forum trolls is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good you are, the bird will **** on the board and strut around like it won anyway
