Remember Hunslet were held up over the line 4 times.
Agree with everything that's been said about gifting Leeds soft tries in the first half BUT in the last 20 minutes Hunslets SUPERIOR FITNESS SHOWED, and Danny Grimshaw came into his own setting up the try of the match for Barnett.

The play the balls need to be far quicker, the rhino kids though had it to a fine art.2 to3 men into the tackle everytime and laid on just enough not to concede too many penalties. All in all a decent workout yesterday against a very well drilled bunch of kids, gifting at least 4 tries in the 1st half cost us a comfortable win.Keighley to get the backlash next week.

The whole contact was very poor; most of the time Leeds were on their feet before Hunslet, both when they were attacking & defending

steady on! We were a bit pony at times, and a few players were shy, but certainly wasn't as bad as you're making out. its not like we made an ass of ourselves

I am not to worried, it is only pre-season, new players getting to know each other, fitness kicking in.

We will be fine come kick off time.

lets get the thing into perpective, out of the 32 points leeds scored in the 1st half , there was only 1 try that actually went through a pair of hands, the rest were from kicks or scoots from dummy half. The only clean breaks on a rainy lousy afternoon came from us and granted that wasnt many.Im more concerned our forwards didnt bully their pack and im sure if Sullivan, Houston, Chappy and Haughey had have played we,d have won.Only Lowey once again took 2 or 3 to get him down and on the evidence of the 2 friendlies he looks set for a good season, Blakeway can give a decent pass as can Caka but as yet im not convinced about the lad from St Helens though its still early days.

Oakes and Harding not good enough for me Barnett has had a mare in both games so far, hes got to improve big time, is he better than Michael Mark??

But i agree with the players missing to come back in that will make a massive difference, we also have Fox and Rayner to come in as well, i thought we missed Wayne Pryce big time yesterday!
