I think the point is that Leeds are a very good and quick team. Being young, they will be fitter and faster than us generally. However, we made a couple of mistakes which gave them 12 points and these happen in some games, but can be eradicated. They also scored three tries from acting half back and while you may concede one like that per game, it shouldn't happen three times. We seemed to lack concentration near our own line but that is a matter for the coaches to sort out. Also, we were held up over the line three times, so the result could have been a lot different all in all. Going back to the Fev game, Harding was terrible in defence, they broke past him 2 or 3 times in the second half without him tackling anybody. However, it is too early to judge and I think the Keighley game will give a better indication what to expect this season. Saying that, ourselves and York must be favourites to drop down but we are better than the TV display last season. There I've said it.
than to open your mouth and prove that you are.

Of the new players, McLocklan has looked promising when he's come on in both games, and I thought Ratcliffe improved things when he came on on Sunday.
I still have no idea what our best centre pairing is (or for that matter, second row either). Be interesting to see what Matt Fox has to offer.
Have to agree with KOL about the touch lines, they were brought in about ten years ago when Plange was in charge and we were struggling with a bunch of kids at the time, surely we can take them out a yard or two again at either side now ??
Also hope we can find some more powerful bulbs for the floodlights, or Sky won't be happy come the Dewsbury game !!

Haha I told ya were a friendly welcoming bunch at Hunslet. Not only did we flood the car park to make you feel at home we also reserved spaces at the back of the carpark for any York fans bringing their caravans. What more could we do

I hope the game is on in 3D as it would be fantastic to see Woodcock sprinting full pelt into our living rooms
