Just seen the highlights of the Batley Giants match, ok the giants had a yound side out but i thought Batley looked useful Reittie scoring at the death , on what i have seen on vids so far, we will need to gel very quickly and pick up the pace of our game, we were given a lesson on Sunday of how to run and pass a ball at pace by Cas, hope we learn to do the same using the friendlies before the real stuff starts, we have the pace in the side need to utilize it .

Don't be fooled by the age of the Huddersfield players. They played very well, and would have beaten Dewsbury (judging by the performances of the opposition in Batley's first two "friendlies" of the season). Two of the team (Kyle Wood & Josh Griffin) played with the Bulldogs in 2010 on dual-reg terms. Hopefully two others (Elliott Hodgson & Greg Johnson) will be with us this year.

I've been impressed with what I've seen of Reittie so far.
