Spectators are advised that the grass bankings behind the posts at the Tetley's Stadium will be out of bounds this Sunday. They are likely to be wet and slippy and there have been implications with regard to insurance if we were to use them (this will also apply to quite a few more of our matches).

Spectators are asked not to access these areas and if they need to go from one side of the ground to the other to ask a steward for permission to walk round the outside of the pitch or be escorted there.

After the game spectators from the South Stand need to walk round the outside of the ground to access the Royal Suite and not use the bankings or walk across the pitch.

Hi Dan, i went to your first ever game up there (against Barrow if i remember correctly) and i thought at the time it had the potential to be a very tidy little ground if terracing of some description were added to both ends of the ground, whats the likelyhood of that ever happening, i understand cashflow will be a problem but Batleys ground improvements have been done through various grants/funding etc, is this something Dews have looked into

I'd say the chances of that are extremely low, unless somebody comes along offering to do it for free, or we reach a situation where we need more space than the existing stands can provide. As for grants, as far as I know grants for projects of that nature have dried up, but if we found out about one we could apply for then we would.

Funny how we never seemed to have this problem of using the banking before our friends from Widnes had a "little incident"!

For crying out loud I know its not the clubs doing but health & safety these days! Err! Before long you won't be able to wipe your own backside without them having to do a full safety assessment.

We were once playing at Taylor Street ,Moor v Batley Boys many moons ago, when the pitch was invaded by several elderly ladies of the asian persuasion, completely oblivious as to what was going on
