Yeah all the NRC games are on a Sunday afternoon, 2pm kick off against Fev.
There's a Wetherspoons pub on Abbey Rd called The Furness Railway which will be open from 9am I think on a Sunday. It's only a few minutes walk from the ground.

The kick off time is definitely Sunday 2pm. There is a Wetherspoons (the Furness Railway) just 10 mins walk from the ground on Abbey Road.

I'd prefer to give that a go rather than risk drinking that sheite at the Ambrose again! -

Jefferson's is a good boozer too, on duke street. Also the Killone duke street next to the ground is a good one. If you phone them they'll open the other room for ye too.

Let it go, Robin! Let it go.

The Ambrose has a variety of guest ales which change on a regular basis. Yes, there are occasional poor ones - always a risk with real ales - but they've had plenty of good ones in there too! You run just as big a risk of encountering a duff pint in a Wetherspoons as much as anywhere else.

Your bad pint experience must have been a Yorkshire ale wink.gif
