Similar to how we have AGAIN been given the Toulouse away fixture date on the MayDay Bank Holiday weekend which means that flights are absolutely extortionate and nothing is open in France when you actually make it there. Two years in a row is not fair. Do they ever use their brains and consider the fans?
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

For the same price of 2 nights in France that the club are quoting I could have 21 nights all incusive in Spain.

Just priced it up myself.
Flights - £132.13 Ryanair
3 nights Hotel (Sat, Sun, Mon) - £203.75 Hotels in Toulouse
Transfers - £50ish
Total £385.88
That's based on a single room, if two people sharing a twin room, price is £285.
That's flights with Ryanair from Liverpool, hotel in centre of Toulouse with a pool and taxi's to and from Carcasoone airport, although there's no transfer to Liverpool from York.
It doesn't appear to me that the Knight are running this trip, I suspect part of Co-Op's sponsorship deal with the Championships means they get to run the clubs away trips to Toulouse through Co-Op travel, meaning they get a bit of money back.

One problem is flights to and from Toulouse are generally only available from the North i.e. Manchester on Fridays and Sunday, which is why they play their home games on a Saturday night. Therefore playing on the Monday means there are no flights back until the Friday, so Carcassonne (being 91km's away) is the only other option flying out from Liverpool on a Saturday with Ryanair. Other teams that go to Toulouse can then get cheap return fares and only need to stay 2 nights. York on the other hand get the most expensive option having to stay 3 nights, having to be transferred possibly up to 2 hours each way in France at another cost and get to Liverpool by train and taxi/stuffy minibus with an unreliable airline.
Why the hell are we having to play Good Friday and then in France on Easter Monday anyway. Players will effectively be away from home for 5 days and then back to work. Also, some supporters have to work Good Friday, so really stitched up. RFL's favourite team at the moment though get a short Friday afternoon saunter across to York and then have the Monday off!! Oh and by the way our 1st league game and our last league game are both at away grounds, one being the fav team above - where's the equality in that?

The RFL in their wisdom have made the fixture at Toulouse financially unaffordable to most supporters. They did not obviously put their brains in gear about travel logistics when they did the fixtures. Any other Saturday would be based upon a cheap flight from Manchester on Friday direct to Toulouse, 2 nights B & B and return on the Sunday - Job done. Flights £110 each and accommodation £120 max. Couple can go for £340, which is cheaper per person than 6 people driving there in a 7 seater car, and that is priced up for Saturday 16th April game. We have to pay £690 due to having to stay 3 nights flying from Liverpool and internal transfers required from Carcassonne as no flights to/from Toulouse. I have written to RFL as well, by the way which will do no good I know.

Also noticed the NR Cup game at Barrow kicks off at 2pm,
yet the Skolars game kicks off at 3pm.
Definately doing the Barrow game & the long drive back straight
afterwards at 3.45, but very doubtful about doing the Skolars game
& not setting off back from London until 4.45.
