Was he rested for the game or maybe took a knock in training? I thought he might have played some part of the Wakefield game yesterday.I saw Daryl Powell at the game,hope he wasn't looking for another player again.

Dom was there, but wasn't fit due to a dose of Laryngitis. Hurry back Dom biggrin.gif

powell probably watching sam obst,i have heard they have an eye on him to replace the half- back who joined the bulls

Thanks for the information Ossy,don't know what we would do without Dom in the team.

Actually I thought we did okay. If nothing else Dom's absence gave Warren the chance to try out the alternatives, and I don't think he'll be too disappointed. That's one reason why my report was fairly positive this week.

Agree with that Ossy I thought we showed up fairly well against what is likely to be (with the exception of 2 or three players) a 1st team super league side.

Had we not conceded in the last seconds 24 10 does not sound as drastic. Panic in attack & lack of concentration to concede 3 soft trys in the 1st half cost us, but for large parts we were with them.

Plenty to build on and improve but equally enough positives to be happy about.

just to set the record straight it wasnt laryngitys but tonsilitis , the first team regulars that were missing yesterday plus three that played had it from contaminated water they had all drunk so im told . warren was not over pleased with the individuals responsible for washing the water bottles so im told .
