Don't know a lot about it at the moment but this, coupled with plans to try and get an RL club off the ground in Corwen, is good news for RL in North Wales.

It's going to be an U'11s team to start with. If the Corwen club gets off the ground that will be open age. Are there any other start up clubs for the Flintshire team to play against?

We'll have a U12s at Chester. I think there are plans to get a junior side off the ground in Wrexham - although they maybe one and the same.

Mid Wales Marauders will be running at least one junior side this summer, and what age group we run will essentially be decided by what the other clubs around us do - there's no point setting up a side and then finding we have to travel for hours for a game, whilst the clubs near us are running sides at the same age group!

I'd like us to run more than one, but I suspect finances and time constraints may make that difficult this year..

Don't think they are the same as wrexham isn't in flintshire anymore and they are based in Mold. Hopefully junoir teams in mold, mid wales, wrexham will be a good start, maybe play each other and you guys in chester, a few friendlies until a few more teams join up to create a nice little junior north wales league.
In other news - new website in functioning club shop shocker http://falconsrugbyl...shop/4546359852 which puts them ahead of the crusaders!

Predictions for the future -
Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG
Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT
Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG
Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

That's good news about Welshpool. There is a meeting next week regarding a new club in the Wrexham area aimed at under 11s. Clearly that's the WRL's target age group in the area so it would probably make sense for Mid Wales to follow suit.
