Our new coach at Stainland Stags in the Pennine amateur league is non other then Jamie Bloem.
Anybody remember him as the high profile fullback for SL Halifax blue sox or playing for singe at Donny?
he's either a South African or a good impressionist!
Apparently he came back after his steriod ban and has been involved in amateur rugby union.

He was also refereeing amateur RL I think, and was often a guest presenter/pundit on Radio Leeds on Sunday afternoon.

and i am sure he played for Donny against us with the biggest crowd I have ever seen at MP.??

lol, yeah i've been told he had a short fuse in his playing time and a liking for the strong stuff!
He keeps ranting on about running a 'c line' from second reciever drop off and not back into the ruck.
His accent is quite dodgy and the majority of the sessions constitute mentioning a 'sea lion' every couple of minutes!
