I'd heard a rumour (well more than a rumour actually) that there would be a 'sprinkling' of first teamers, but this appears to be a squad containing 15 first team squad members (Cas's words, not mine, before Rams spark up).

Looking forward to it - we'll probably take a beating but it's a chance for us to test how far we've come in pre-season I guess. Sounds like Isa will play.

I am out of touch in regard to the Tigers, but have a feeling we may go quite well.Would be a good finish to the friendlies if we could hold them to a reasonable score and a good omen for the coming season.

Lost 42-22. We matched them in every respect for the first 60minutes.We scored some very attractive tries. Cas slowed things down for us at the play the ball, they were very fast in this area as most Sl sides are. I came away even more confident about the coming season. If this momentum continues we will go very well.
