Yeh coz that will be good quality RL, why do University's get all the exposure? Why not RLC on a Wednesday Night? We battered Gloucester on Sunday.

Any exposure of the rugby league on national TV is good for the game don't you think?
The RLC has to compete with the majority of national and international professional leagues playing sport around the world. The SRL play their games midweek making this opportunity available.

Well done for beating Gloucester a team that was started 3years ago and is currently bottom the Super 8 winning no games this season, it will be interesting to see how you go against leeds met in the CC.
You beat gloucester 46-10. Leeds met beat them 76 - 0 at Gloucester. I don't think you would fair too well in the student league if you competed.

In an ideal world I would love every league being shown live on tv but this is never going to happen so we should be happy with anything we can get. The SRL have to be praised for striking this deal with premier sports and making things happen. Maybe if the RLC inquired opportunities could be there.

Well done to Leeds Met, we missed 10 kicks on Sunday due to wind, Leeds Met are on a nice big pedastool at the moment aren't they?

No not really they drew to northumbria on weds. Loughborough beat them last year, and will run them close next week. The league has become very competitive, and I believe its unfair to stereotype the student game on gloucesters performance.

Do the demons even play in the top RLC league yet with the likes of outlaws, wizards etc?

Maybe it was a little insensitive of me to pigeon hole all the Uni teams like that, Loughborough and Leeds Met - quality outfits and would happily watch them on TV on a Wednesday Night along with a couple other Uni teams I don't know much about but what my point was is why not have floodlit, midweek games in the RLC? Lengthen the season out with Cup games as well, Cumbrian leagues have the Amatuer Cup, County Cup, Dale Campbell Savours Cup it's all good for Rugby League, I see nothing wrong with taking games midweek to a pitch with floodlights and putting it on Premier Sports if they are willing to show it, just needs a bit of drive and vision from higher up to get it rolling.

As I said in my first post, any coverage is good coverage. I would support any campaign to show RCL.
As you said its all in the hands of those above to get the ball rolling, half the time we don't even know who is playing where each year in RLC never mind what games are going to be shown on TV. hopefully with the restructure TV will come with it.
Good luck with your game with met by the way, I would love to see them lose.
