There's no personal vendetta on my part regarding Oakes, I just don't rate him as a centre! That's just my opinion, we hot away with playing him in the centre last season against the likes of London at Gateshead, but this season he will get found out against better opposition, but if he does play centre il support him at ever game I go to even if i dont agree with his selection, like I did last season when he was keeping one of our strongest players going forward in Michael mark ( not on merit may I add) I too hope he proves me wrong and he has a cracking season but I'm afraid I can't see it, once again only my opinion! But deffanately no vendetta just an opinion, I don't rate vegetables but I don't have a vendetta against veg!

You slagged the whino's of at every opportunity, not just at games but also on here. If you wanna forget a about that then that's your choice, but there's plenty who'll disagree with you.

It's almost a year now since Robbo left Hunslet. Shouldn't you be more concerned with your beloved whino's??? Who you used to abuse at every opportunity by the way. Too right! It showed when we played Barrow in cup, the likes of March's, Haughey, Pryce, Chappy all stepped up to the plate and looked capable against better players. Clayton and Oakes looked outclassed and cleary out of their depth.

Hunslet might be going nowhere but its our team. Supporters support even when we lose. We at Hunslet have had some terrible times in recent history & those fans who stayed loyal deserve a little bit of success which we have just achieved.Your all sad people!!!

After all not all players are good enough for super league but we appreciate they put their bodies on the line each week.

What old Hunslet players were around at South Leeds for the Lazenby Cup game?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I noted 6 or 7, including "Snanks" Watson who presented the trophy.
