Was there a £10k draw over xmas as usual? (It was a £10k Draw wasn't it?? Or was it a cruise??)
If so does anybody know who won it? Was it in the paper?
Maybe I missed something but don't recall seeing any mention of it.

The £10,000 was won by Karen Graham. See the very last line in this press article http://www.nwemail.c...und-up-1.118665
As far as I know that is the only publicity about it.

I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Thats a lie, I won it. I am currently living it up on a yacht moored of the coast of the Dominican Republic. Ok, I made that up, I`m really in a dinghy tied up to a rock just south of Silloth.
