17 year olds should really be classed as juniors nowadays. Put it this way. They can't drink, smoke, vote, and probably can't drive and are in full time education. Personally, I think pricing (and this is across the board - not just at Swinton) should reflect this and maybe have U18s (and U21s in f/t education), Adult, and concessions (maybe U23s, OAPs, unemployed etc.). The leap from paying £25 or whatever it is for a season ticket to over £100 is massive, especially if you are 16 and at sixth form or in your first job. The biggest drop off in season ticket holders in the game is in this age bracket.Just taken a phone call from somebody who was interested in going to the Halifax game on friday night with his two lads aged 17 and 8.Apparently his interest in the club has been ignited by the publicity weve had in the Advertiser. However when I told him it was £13 for him and his 17 year old and probably £7/8 for his younger lad he was put off.Perhaps we need to look at some kind of deals for new fans or allowing free kids for 2 adult paying fans.
The club where Eurovision isn't a dirty word. A waltz through the leopard skin lined world of Tom Jones, Bert Kampfert and Burt Bacharach. Step out to the sound of the happy hammond and swing to the seductive sounds of the samba.
DJ's, raffles, cocktails and wide collars. Please dress smart. Gentlemen might like to wear a suit.
Same price. Same music. Same rubbish prizes.

I agree that u18s should get in for free and rl pricing across the board is too expensive. Me and my old fella often used to venture into enemy territory at the Willows for good fixtures but the prices became ridiculous, £17/18each, so we stopped.17 year olds should really be classed as juniors nowadays. Im sure kids under 16 were free in the last few seasons home and away?
Sorry but Im not into subsidising unemployed persons leisure time, that one would be a no no to me.

My kids are too old for junior lions now but don't they pay a set fee of 25 quid for the whole year?
