I love TB. What a great guy and coach.

I don't think I'd rather have any other coach over Tony.

Steady on Brooksy! That's a bold statement.

At the end of the day coaches are judged on results. We haven't achieved our goal of promotion under his guidance when our squads were on paper stronger than others.

I think he is a decent guy and I like his policy of giving youth / local players a chance, but Benson needs to deliver promotion this year, his predecessor was shown the door in such circumstances.

COME ON OLDHAM!!!! COME ON OLDHAM!!!!!

Im with Brooksy on Tony Benson as a man who set a fine example...In word and action when we landed at Whitebank. Leading by example it is called or not being afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, along with his family as well (I think) and a whole host of loyal fans who saw what we had got and KNEW it had to be improved pronto...A great effort, especially for a club that is not run by an elected committee, on a ground owned by the local council, (if indeed it still is) and without any information at the time of any "arrangements" entered into by the PLC.
For the Love of the Club and the Game!
It was a pretty unique experience for my children and I and we did what we could almost as an act of faith that the club itself would continue the momentum of those early days BECAUSE it will be an source of embarrassment to me personally if it stalls as things are presently, and the frustrating thing that infuriates me with the way that this club is run is we hear that "Planning Permission is awaiting the councils nod of approval"...Planning permission for WHAT EXACTLY....exactly!!!!
