Barrow fans must think Sundays a forgone conclusion not a jot about the game as yet apart from the poster, well the lads had better show them its not come you KNIGHTS.

Yes - also asked about the bar on Sunday, but no response yet.
Nothing on the 'Away Supporters' bit on their official club
website either....

G'Day to you. The Raider's Bar is open as usual and is situated in the corner of the ground nearest to Duke Street, just behind the Ambrose pub. KO is at 14:00 hrs and I would expect a very close encounter - I don't think anyone here is taking any game for granted. Good luck for the season (except when you play us of course; we're going to need all the advantages we can get!!).

As opposed to the two YCK fans who've bothered commenting about the game on this forum? Glass houses etc...
Apart from a few rumblings of discontent about team selection and dark mutterings over things overheard in bars, I don't exactly get the impression that there's a tremendous amount of enthusiasm emanating from your neck of the woods, either!
Still, have a safe trip over and hope you enjoy the day, whoever comes.
Which one of you is riding pillion?

I'm sure we do not underestimate any team that graces our turf. I for one am looking forward to a hard contest with some good friendly banter between us all.Barrow fans must think Sundays a forgone conclusion not a jot about the game as yet apart from the poster, well the lads had better show them its not come you KNIGHTS.

The folk at Barrow make all the travelling fans as welcome as possible (we are known for our hospitality).
It has been quiet on all the forums as all we have to talk about is our own squads...once the games start in earnest I will be the first to say how "we are going to win the NRC, League, GF, stuff allcomers and how poor our opponents were...etc.
I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday. Have a safe journey.

I would like to reply by stating I consider Barrow supporters to be the most sporting and the most gracious in defeat that I have ever encountered and will take the memory of the last time Dave Woods took a side there,in 2008,to my last breath on this earth.
I am not a fan of your previous or current coach nor do I understand the problem caused for Andrew Henderson, but if there is a set of sports supporters for whom I would want success then it would be Barrow.
One of your directors Jon Livesey did use your forum and was passionate about Barrow and rugby league.
Is he still involved at Barrow ?

I think being gracious in defeat was ground into us from 1984 till 2007...lol
However all going well on Sunday you will be shaking MY hand and saying "I thought your team deserved that great win today".
