Greetings Lions fans.

I am the editor of 'The Centurion' - Leigh's matchday magazine. we are currently compiling an article about the Lions for our upcoming NRC game. I'm having difficulty getting hold of a decent photo of the Lions' latest logo, or of their current players. (although I could probably just publish some of the photos of former Leigh lads!)

Could anybody advise me where I can get hold of the necessary visuals, please?

Alan, You can get all the rugby crests from Wikipedia if you type in swinton lions it will bring the peugeot badge up, i mean the crest.

Also if you want player pictures, Google the name, Eg, Mark Smith, then click on the images and Boosh !!! there you go.

Google and Wikipedia the way forward for your magazine, Hope it helps and hope you get good sales.

Thanks for the advice. I've tried Wikpedia, but the crest isn't good enough quality for our publisher - fussy lot, us Leythers!

Also, I'm well aware of the Google route, and have used it before - trouble is, some folks are very fussy about copyright. I'd rather get something official, from Swinton and have emailed them - but no reply yet!

Mind you, as most of their squad are ex-Leythers, I've probably got photos of them, albeit in our colours.
