The programme will begin at 1.45pm for the 2pm kickoff with Sharon Shortle and myself presenting.
The Knights season starts with a couple of long journeys so, if you are unable to make the trips, we'll be delighted to keep you up to date with all the action on 666AM, 1260AM or online at bbc,co,uk/york.
As well as featuring full match commentary, there are interviews with coach Dave Woods, new skipper Alex Benson and a look back to the Playoff Final victory over Oldham last September.
We'll also be keeping you in touch with other latest scores in the NR Cup and any news on how the local amateur clubs fared on Saturday.
If you have any views on the game while we are on air, text 81333 and start your message with the word 'York'.
Hope you will join us...

I'll be tuning in Sunday, can't make it, kids footy season still a long way off finishing what with the bad weather before Xmas, that's the only problem running a side, it clashes with the Knights!!
