Very disappointing result today. I listened on the radio link given above. Sounds like it was a poor game with Hunslet getting the best of the penalty count. Lots of high shots going in and stop start rugby. We had plenty of second half possession and plenty of time on the Oldham line. Fair does to Oldham they defended well and made some good breaks. Roden ran the show for them. Seemed to lack the nous near their line. Did we miss Chappy? Where was he today? Big wake up call today i think and didn't hear Grimmer's name mentioned once. Just my observations, and yes i realize i wasn't at the game and only listened on an Oldham radio station. So what was your view of the game?

Last season is last season. You are only as good as your last game and to be honest the scoreline flattered Hunslet.

Apart from Wood-Hulme sitting Grimshaw on his ######, the funniest moment for me was March missing that kick from right in front!
If that half-witted French official hadn't allowed himself to be conned by the chuckle brothers time after time, we would have been out of sight with 15 to go!
You are right it is only the NR Cup, but on that showing I think it's going to be a long hard season for Hunslet.
As for us, we appear to be getting the balance right with all the local lads we have signed, four of our five tries today were scored by Oldham born players!

Ouch!!
Funny you mention Robinson, I thought if you had had him in your side today he might have made a difference!

Mention of that final kick

Just WHY did your PA man start speaking from the only speaker in the ground just as Dave was taking the kick

Not very sporting and I reckon if Oldham had owt about them they'd publicly apoplogise for that totally unsporting gesture !!

Oldham were the better team on the day but the score reflected the usual tough encounter - very competitive, but littered with mistakes.

We still have a lot of areas to work on but I'm sure Paul March is well up to the job !!

I admire Paul for his gesture to the supporters at the end - what a great touch Paul.

Now about the criteria for 'any' rugby league - surely you should have hot water ??

Come on Oldham - its brilliant to see you having your own ground but it seems that nothing has happened since last time we were there ?? Time to move it forward eh lads ??

###### hole ground will never go back again, be aware ALL away fans DON'T go outside of bar for a cig at half time, apparently if you do it means you have left the ground and to get back in you need to pay £12 AGAIN. This happened to my wife who went for a cig, if it wasn't for me getting concerned where she was and going to look for her she wouldn't have got back in as the big lump of a steward was stopping her getting back, I questioned what was happening and he took me to a postage stamp size sign on turnstile saying if you leave any part of ground you will not be allowed back in. I didn't realise I was at Wembley.

Whitebank is a disgrace and no way should a professional sports club be allowed to play there!
