So I'm flying home Sunday after watching the Halifax contest. I'm a bit disappointed in that the guy whose shirt I sponsor doesn't play.
I'm about 30 rows back and around me are several fellow sports fanatics. A guy in a Liverpool shirt, a guy in a Steelers shirt, me in my Patriots vest over my Lions shirt. We are all talking about the upcoming Super Bowl and the Liverpool-Chelsea match-up we were going to miss. There a guy a row ahead who basically reminds us all the RL is the best game of all! A women who's a Warrinton Wolves fan agrees. I ask the guy where he's from? Huddersfield. Is he a big fan? Yes but the Batley Bulldogs. He's going to miss the Sunday fixture and his son is playing. Turns out his son's a youg prop. He sees my Lions shirt. "I know one of your guys, he and my son coach juniors together from time to time." "Who's that then?"
Turns out it's Phil Joseph. The guy whose shirt I sponsor.......
What are the odds of that happening??
The Twilight Zone!

Next time, Wayne.
You wouldn't want to be here right now, we are inundated with snow. Of course we do live in ski country....
