once again the kells end was out sung by the town fans do they know they were supposed to be at home?

According to Choccy and the other jammies we only send a car full of supporters through to the Wreck.... so it must be embarrassing for the Kells end to be out sung by a hand full!!!

Town’s Barmy Army savour win
EASY, easy, easy – and more – chanted Workington Town’s own version of The Barmy Army.
There was just no stopping this incessant cacophony of noise. Not without good reason, though, as the Town raced into an 18-0 lead in as many minutes.
One of the most maddening things was that The Barmy Army once again set up camp in the Kells End, home for generations of Whitehaven faithful. It made Town’s salutations all the more unwelcome.
Also maddening, in an entertaining Northern Rail Cup clash on heavy ground, was the number of refereeing decisions which, for the most part, favoured Workington and, at crucial stages, virtually helped destroy the home side.
For the second time in five weeks, Whitehaven got off to a disastrous local derby start – even worse than in the Ike Southward Memorial match. Seemingly eclipsed under the Recreation Ground floodlights.
How does choccy like that report from the whitehaven news

from the N&S where according to the headline on wed, the jam should have won because they scored 4 tries to our 3, what an idiot you are morgan, the winners are the team who score the most points!! you clown
and today in the sh**ehaven news "eye on the ball" or allan "scruffy" Irvings colum (as quoted above by town88) how sad you are!!
the other amusing thing about this fiction is the idiot jam fans believe it

Let's see how many they fetch through on good Friday, they've only been coming through in numbers of late because we were s***e and they new they were gonna win.According to Choccy and the other jammies we only send a car full of supporters through to the Wreck.... so it must be embarrassing for the Kells end to be out sung by a hand full!!!

This scoring 4 tries to our 3 tries is starting to get to me. Even Border TV tonight had it in their report but we took 5 kicks at goal from virtually in front of the posts each time and scored. This meant that we had to go back to our own half, receive the ball and work our way up the pitch again before we got in to a position where the ref gave us another penalty.
If we had taken tap penalties instead of going for goal who knows how many more tries we could have scored but at the very least Haven would have had more tackles to defend, so maybe we should have run a few of the penalties and scored more tries for a larger winning margin. We only won because the ref gave us all those penalties according to some (the 10 points difference) and I now wish we had run at least a couple of the penalties then maybe we would have been given more credit.
Mind you, giving away a penalty to stop your opponents scoring 6 points is an old ploy often used to keep the score down!!!!
As for our local press, well I did make a complaint about the coverage in west Cumbria and my letter was passed back to the editor of the T & S. Since then I think the coverage of Town in his paper has improved but we are still always second in the N & S, even the report of the match in the T & S today was the one that appeared in the Whitehaven News written by one of Haven's top fans.
