Firstly well done to the kells end townies you were awsemome! well the skolars fans are at it again making excuse after excuse about our latest win over the thunder sorry i mean skolars. yes it was the referee or the pitch and they still have players to come back yet. erm saying the ref was to blame, well hey that sounds familiar in town v them games.

Try mentioning the name "Hewer" and sit back and enjoy the irony. I asked one how he felt when Hewer has done us over time after time v them and he said it was great. Such idiotic hypocrites.

I wonder what some of them would have been saying if the penalty count had been the other way round!!!!!! I would guess we would be getting told we needed to improve our discipline, do you think?
Been talking to a Haven fan tonight and he tells mw the talk after the game was that Brett McDermott, 2 academy lads from Warrington and someone else who he couldn't remember were signing on for Haven shortly. I said Bret McD had just signed for Barrow and he said he was coming to Haven at the start of the league season!!

I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Hi Keith! Any idea how a team that was relegated by league position and goes into administration can then sign a Kiwi an Aussie and now supposedly Brett McD? The board must be hoping they don't have to fork out winning pay!! And while I'm at it how come Whitehaven get all the coverage in the News and Star? Last Thursdays had 3 that's 3 articles on them and one small article on us. The Star looks on them as if they won the challenge cup not a relegated side with minus points and in debt up to their eyeballs!! Will have crack on Sun at DP (ex basslake)I wonder what some of them would have been saying if the penalty count had been the other way round!!!!!! Those are both questions quite a few people have been asking. I expect the creditors that lost out massively would be particularly interested in where their money is coming from. As for the papers, its been happening for ages and is partly our clubs fault but mostly an innate bias at the papers.Hi Keith!
