Decent result for the Cougars last week and they'll be full of confidence. Our half-back pairing will be crucial in my opinion, assuming the defence has improved on last week. I expect a poor gate however as the NRC has yet to capture the imagination of the public.

batleys lucky they have 3 quality halfbacks but the rest of your team are no better than what we have at the rams.infact i wouldnt swop anybody in our team for anybody in yours because if anyfing we have the stronger players as youl see this coming season

All 3 " Quality" half backs were playing for Batley last Sunday. One got sent off and the other two didn't create anything . At least our creative half backs created seven tries and in a different country if you please!

I was at Keighley last week and your wrong about JD.He did ok but nothing special.

There are two points that interest me here. First I'll be interested to see how much effect Demetriou has on the Cougars, he's got a tough act to follow in Barry Eaton, and he hasn't had much time with his new team.

Second, now we'll find out who we've got to play stand off with Patch out for the next month. This is one we need to win, though I reckon the first half will be hard as it always seems to be against The Cougars. Rams 24 - Cougars 18.
