Been watching the Millennium Magic games and are starting to wondering if the RFL have a new ruling in the game??
I'm amazed at the amount of "play the ball" that isn't rolled back by the foot. There is hardly a set played now, where the foot rolls the ball backwards, instead the balls just rolled back with no contact with the boot at all!!
We seem to go through phases where the rule is clamped down on, and pens are given for incorrect play of the ball by the Refs but, it seems that this year the rule just don't exist's!!

you can bet money that if we didnt play the ball we would get penalised for it .
