Well, the much awaited highlights are finally on the website folks.

For those of us waiting to see Gilly's great try again....Tough!

Why oh why can't they actually keep the camera on the action all the time? It's either that, or when they edit the footage they cock it all up!!! Rather than showing the great build up to Gilly's try, which I think involved a couple of passes from Valu and Jack B, we just about see Gilly step inside the full back. It's pointless...

On a plus side, they've stopped saying "it's try time" or "it's a double t"...The phrase of the week is "It's OTT, Oldham try time"!!

Also between them you would think they could learn who the Oldham players actually are, it's not that difficult is it?

It's terrible. The two guys clearly have no idea about rugby and have no idea who any of the players are. I'd rather have no commentary but see the tries in there entirety.That Gillam try is one of the best we have scored for a very long time and they've butchered it when all they had to do was follow the play from the play the ball. They almost ruined Fogarty's try against Haven missing the chip over the top from Diveney.

What Gillam try? They said it was Luke Sutton. He must be the fastest prop in history! I think their commentary, if you can call it that, is hilarious, but, for a pro club, it's shoddy, to say the least. Any chance of Stevie Wonder for the next match? At least he could give us a song!

Personally I think it's fantastic that they've managed to get Peter Kay to use the commentary to develop his new comedy characters. He's obviously not hit on the perfect new catchphrase yet, (OTT being the latest effort), I'm just waiting for "garlic bread!?" to ring out as Oldham score.

The guys are not from Oldham,and they dont know the team, but I am sure they will get to know the teams as the weeks go on, and hopefully John Prince will be back soon, but (Spud) if anyone does wanna have a go contact the club.
As for the editing, they have to try and cram as much footage as they can in 15 minutes not easy I know.
But its alot better than the videos we had 2 - 3 years ago.

Their were 9 tries in that game. How they can't get that into 15 minutes is beyond me. The first 3 minutes is spent watching the teams come out.
I sincerely hope the club isn't paying for the privelege

It's 1 minute and 29 seconds untill the ball is kicked off, 2 21 before the 1st try. so where is your 3 minutes before they kick off. (as you say Tripe)

You know what? I really couldn't be bothered going back over it to disect the video in its entirity. If we are going to be pedantic about it, lets say this. Even if it took a whole minute to show the build up to every single try, that would still only be 9 minutes. That would still leave a further 6 minutes to show any other decent breaks/tackles etc...

Its tripe, and I still haven't been bothered to watch it again.

There is not point going on about the Hunslet Highlights whats done is done, The guys are trying, and I hope they get better,,,,,, but guys if you read this please stop the OTT,

The real point I was trying to make was one of disappointment at not being able to see Gilly's try again. Disappointment that many seem to share. I totally agree, they need to improve, and...My other point...I hope we aren't paying them.
