Thing is these clowns arnt even established players. They obviously believe in their own hype and think they are above the law. I for one won't be singing the praises for the likes of johnson if he plays or cambell for that matter, match winners or not!

I don't believe he's been charged with anything yet so I think judgement should be reserved until then.

Look like he thought he was entitled to a free rub and didn't appreciate the snub (hey, I'm a poet and I didn't know it!). He'll do time for that, and his career is probably in tatters. Drunk or not, he sounds like a nasty piece of work and that girls wedding plans are in tatters.

What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

what a shame.
the press are lethal at times and will only print what they think will make headlines and sell papers.
people are far too quick to judge without knowing what went on. just my opinion.
rab c thats very disappointing that you make that statement.

Really? Well thats my opinion.
Yes two sides to every story yadda yadda.... Papers can dress it up all they want. That girl was glassed in the eye! If you think that’s acceptable that shows what a sorry state this country is in.
The lad who Cambell punched has severe injuries and is restricted to seeing his own children. Yes i know without knowing the full facts of each case, you shouldn’t judge. But these young players are in the public spotlight. Local celebrities and heros in some eyes.
So why do they think when something is not going their way they can react any different to anyone else on the street??

All in all, professional sportsmen have a public decorum to adhere to and their actions off the field will always be subject to brighter spotlights than the average joe bloggs.
What is worrying is that rugby from SL to championship realms seems to be following in the murky haze of football star related misdemeanors.
Ok maybe there is a while to go before we really do hit the rooney'esque front page scandals. But we are clocking up vicious assaults, sexual assaults, Drug crimes and fraud.
In the days of Geoff Grayshon the only crimes our lads performed were leaving floaters in the WC and not taking their empty pots back up to the bar!
