2004 comes to mind here.

Some of us might still be hurting from that game then.

Hopefully their fans will behave themselves this time!

Couldnt have been a worse draw really. The worst fixture in recent memory for Swinton in more ways than one.

That was an awful day, let hope we just demolish them on the pitch! And I'm going to the united game so a fixture change would be nice.

Sorry Riggy I have to disagree. There fans were the worst I had seen in years. So much so they were reported to the rugby league council. If my mind serves me right , a gang of there fans were throwing bottles off the balcony and after the match some of there fans were urinating in the gardens of the bungalows opposite in full view of the residents. This was the one fixture i didn't want.

Add to that shouting verbal abuse at our younger fans.

from the the very outset the Hull supportors were trouble

the vast majority were already well plastered before they arrived at SP, and with the numbers they had and the open nature of SP it was impossible to really do anything about them, they also staged a pitch invasion at the end of the game

with the different nature of the willows, and with proper stewarding* then it might make it easier to contain any incidents, but one option the club could look at is perhaps moving this to an earlier kick-off, say lunchtime, to minimise any potential trouble

*this isn't a critiscm of the stewarding in place at that time

Even if it's moved to Lunchtime on the Sunday it'll clash with the KO of the Man U Vs Liverpool game.

Have it early Sat I say so like you say they don't turn up in a condition!

Because of the East Hull fans' disgracefull behaviour at Park Lane a few seasons ago in the cup, it may be advisable to alert the security and stewarding boys at the Willows about this.

if you look on the RFL website the game is at 13.45 on Sautrday 5th March, good idea I'd say. However, if we are being picky I'd have played it a 9am, mind u even that wouldn't be early enough for some of them.
Dont worry, it will soon be Christmas!

I am involved with Wigan St.Pats and have been going to East Hull for many years and never seen any trouble from the Easts support, i suspect the trouble would have come from people jumping on the big game ( from the amateurs point of view) bandwagon.

East Hull are not the force of old and the Lions are considerably improved, which means the chances of an upset must be minimal and in turn I'd expect far less interest from away support this time.

The game has been made all ticket, which I feel may be a bit of an over-reaction and will hit the gate.
Rugby League - great game, shame about the administration.

Don't see why all ticket will hit the gate.

They will be easily accessable and if you want to attend you will make sure you get one simple as that.

Good work on the re-schedule, as I will now be in attendance! (So there's 1 more for the gate).

Is there any facility to buy tickets over the phone or online? Not everyone can get to the club office.
