A hard match but winable. We went there in the league last season and were 24 - 6 down at HT and just lost 32 - 24 in the end, so as I say quite winable.
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

hard game, but a team we should be beating at home or away this year.we are an improving side and have a team who should be capable of beating the majority of teams in this league.

Bad luck to be put in the Amateur bag, but at least we have a chance this time as opposed to last year.

Hi guys
I'm doing some of the programme notes in our new programme and want to put in some stuff from the visiting fans. It won't involve much just a questionaire and some details on your players etc.
If anyone would like to take part just emaiol me atr the following address and I'll send you the details. I need the stuff back by the weekend before the game to edit it for fitting in. I may be able to include pictures etc.

Not a great draw but If we get a sizeable and vocal following we've a good chance. I'll be going.
