Following an RFL Disciplinary Review of Batley's recent NRC game with the Leigh Centurions on Tuesday night, Jason Walton has been handed a two-match ban, whilst Paul Mennell's dismissal was seen as sufficient punishment. Walton will now sit out the games against Gateshead and Halifax as a result.

common sense prevails for pocket rocket mennel and i doubt if he has previous disciplinary meetings to blacken his character on this occassion, but i missed the walton report- when did he suposedly break the rules of the game?
