Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce the capture of former Hull FC, Sydney Roosters and Leeds Rhinos player Jordan Tansey.

The 24-year-old stand off or full back made 24 appearances in Super League for Hull FC last season, and is expected to make his debut for the Rams in this Sunday's Northern Rail Cup clash against Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium.

That is good news for the Rams fans and dare I say it for the Championship. Even better if it's still within the £40K budget Mark/Warren said they had.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Great signing.

Jaw Dropping signing. Well done. That might put a few more on your gate as well. Roll on 13th March

Great signing

Sure he has a get out clause for a SL team if he plays well though

Just hope he keeps his nose clean and doesn't upset Warren, as he's only with us because of his poor disciplinary record

Well done to all involved, top signing. Hope it works out and he becomes a real star for us. Good luck Jordan with you career in Red Amber & Black! This might even tempt me to go on Sunday, now!

On a "pay as you play" deal.
To be honest can't see many Super league clubs wanting him.
Leeds Rhinos,STILL the only Grand Final winning club NOT to have cheated the salary cap.WCC Champions 2012.

It is a good signing, but as has been pointed out the guy is a serial offender off the field, hence his poor track record with clubs for a young player of his potential and ability

great signing, especialy with patch out.jordans very versitial so will no doubt play at 6 or 7.maybe patch can now switch to loose when he returns from injury, his propper position??

cant wait for donny sunday.i cant see jordan playin fullback for us,not when we have james craven who for many think is in for a realy good season and wont belong before superleague show interest.wouldnt mind a bet on james been in the championships top tryscorers chart this season.

welcome to the rams jordan

A good signing for you guys as hopefuuly his fall from SL should make him buck his ideas up if he wants back in the big time, which can only be good for the Rams.

I believe his disciplinary problems centre arround the demon drink - sounds a bit like danny brough. Personally don't care if he has a thirst like Gazza as long as he does the business on the pitch.
Great signing!

He's definitely a bit of a marquee signing for you lot. And in a position you needed to fill. Maybe you're in for a decent season after all!

Sadly I think JC may be performing enough miracles on the pitch to already be on the SL radar. If he gets to the last few games of the season as a Ram, I presume Fev will start tapping him up for next season - as usual. Hope I'm wrong.
