empty seats and frozen mitts but the tries Batley made brought some warmth to the hardy souls.

Daley williams and Rettie are 2 excellent signings and i for one have been suprised about how good they can perform.

Ash, Tiger, Lythsey and Paddy lead from the front foot and the tackle pads have undoubtedly took some hammer midweek after outr defensive commitment.

If the uncertain amount of positional stability is all thats lacking lets hope this game has put us in a good stance for the shay 'must win' next sunday!

Karl cheers now move on the KEAR IS HERE!

I didn't think it was a great performance today. Scoreline was excellent, performance very patchy.

i agree, i just feel relieved that we can get over the line still after some dodgy attcking performances since the pre season friendlies.

many folk are saying that roatation of Bulldogs players around the scrum half, hooker and stand off areas are causing a lack of continuity and stability.

Just wait until Flanagan's back - that situation will be even worse. Thought Moore had a very disappointing game today (although his goal-kicking was good).

too right seen as though Lythsey has upped his game and refound his scoot from the rook that used to terrorise Leigh time after time1

Credit where credit's due - Lythesy had a very decent game today.

As did one or two others. But that's the problem isn't it, we are blowing too hot and cold and are very inconsistent. Last week, I thought Moore was the difference between the two sides. This week I thought he was poor. Hesketh today was scary in parts, then ordinary in others. Lythes had a great game, but it's the first for ages.

We really need to build some consistency. This of all seasons is not the one to be seen to struggle in light of what's going to happen next season.

Tongue in cheek or what. Can't see how a team just walking in try's can keep you warm.Rugby games like that are a joke to play in and a joke to pay and watch.

Was at the game yesterday and i thought it was a poor game. Is Danny Maun injured? Moore was poor, he needs to pick his defence up big time otherwise he will be a spot player for every team. Lythesy wa best player on the field.

i think we played decent in patches but we struggle in the mud, we don't have an old school forward who will drive us forward all day i said this last season after our first away game at fev when got murdered in forwards but as a the weather hopefully improves and i think we will outplay teams around us but i think our best players yesterday were daley williams and his brother daz also paddy who made some big hits and stopped gateshead getting a roll on down hill also baz and lythes also put a stint but moore is learning and will carry on learning as the season goes on but we need to stop playing left everytime we go down hill i think toohey and daz williams were cold until that last try. dane manning wasn't good enough first time round i remember a certain coach saying that, but he makes ground and tackles well does a big stint reminds me of spears.

taking advantage of the reduced admittance fee for ex players darren? good on you- more the merrier! although i would hope the entertainment served at the mount is slighly higher than that available at South Leeds!
