Laurie is a rugby league stalwart and has missed something like 3 Batley games in 35 years, I'm sure you'll all join me in sending our best wishes to Laurie, Andrew and the family. Sad times.

that is sad news best wishes to laurie and his family have known him for years hopefully he will recoverAs many of you may know already, I'm sad to report that Laurie Grailey, lifelong supprter and Club Historian suffered another major stroke earlier this week and as we stand is criticaly ill in hospital.

Unfortunately Laurie passed away this afternoon, God Bless Him. Our thoughts go to his family, in particular Andrew, Laurie's son.
