I couldnt really pick one of the other threads to post this on as I dont particularly want to debate the Radio Leeds comments, by Karl or Calland and I dont want to debate the week warm weather training camp and everyones(who wasnt there) perception of what it was about and i dont want to get into any our team was weakened or your team was weakened scenario (I will keep my debates to these topics on our own board), therefore i thought it would be better to start a new thread.

Well done to your team yesterday. Your team showed a hunger and a desire in the first 40 minutes that just blew us away. Thankfully we came back in the second half and made an exciting match of it. The match had everything from real dogged defence to exciting tries and of course a 79th minute drop goal decider. (thats why i like watching this game)

Its good to see you qualify for the knock out stages, I hope that we can pull this out of the hat in Cumbria on Wednesday.

It would be good if we could meet again in this cup, and I would prefer it to be at Blackpool.

I mentioned on another thread how much I enjoyed myself at the Shay and the second half performance especially Fax. Good luck on Wednesday, but unfortunatly we have the final reserved for ourselves against the Rams

Well done. Got stuck in made some great plays in first half and wanted it more.
Not a fan of Calland (engage brain then open mouth next time. mind you he`s a Mayfield man so its what you expect!) Karls a proper coach.
Comments on other forum embarrasing
Good game to watch.
Echo Bobs sentiments.
My favorite Halifax team has been Siddal for many years!

Sing a song of Yorkshire, from the Humber to the Tees
Of cricket, rugby, beer, of pudding and of cheese
I know no other county where the land is quite so fine
England's lovely county. And I'm proud to call it mine

Where shining purple heather stretches far across the moor
And the lapwing's cry above me takes the place of traffic roar
And peace comes drifting gently, there's no place I'd rather be
Than this land of hills and valleys, from the Pennines to the sea

So when I've done my roaming, and when my step grows slow
When heart and mind assure me that the time has come to go
Then let me rest in Yorkshire, for its there I want to lie
'Neath sun and wind and heather... and a gleaming Yorkshire sky

Thanks BOB , it was a great game as most FAX v Batley games are , thought Ben Black was outstanding for you , everything you created 2nd half , was orchestrated by him , Worrincy was dire on your 6 yard line , but electric on our 6 yard line ,
Thought first 30 we had our best half back pairing Mennel/Handforth and with hesketh/smith our best 2 up front , we ran you ragged , but 2nd half you did the same to us , who says the mount makes it a game of two halves

I know, youd've thought there was a slope at the shay on Sunday

I am pretty sure we will have more battles before seasons end....
