Thats what it says on the NR site
"The top four teams in each pool go into an open draw for the Quarter Finals. This will be broadcast live by Sky Sports during half time at the Leigh v Featherstone game on Thursday 10 March."

Well I'm sure there won't be a kettle malfunction at Redhall, so i'm predicting:

Toulouse v. Batley
Halifax v. Featherstone
Leigh V. Hunslet
Widnes V. Dewsbury

Of course maybe, just maybe, it will be a free and random draw, but if it was I'm sure that a conspiracy theory could be constructed around that one too.

I'm not really into conspiracy theories, but the fact that we were the only Championship club that had to play 3 ties against opposition from the same division, having won the competition last season, does seem a little odd. Its also odd that we have to play Toulouse away on the exact same horrific Bank Holiday weekend as last season, meaning that ridiculously expensive air fares and an empty French city await any of our fans that wish to make the journey.

What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

I will. Third time lucky for the team.

Not sure I could swing a second trip if we are drawn away to them in the NRC though.

Sorry , Fev supporter, looking to see any news. I thought we had to wait for the Halifax v Whitehaven game before we knew the last eight?

that's not really true is it? I think Barrow played against 3 championship sides and I know for a fact that we FEV did, York and Barrow away and Widnes home. Don't you just love a good conspiracy?

# Donny, Hunslet and Rams were never going to be promoted!
# Wigan were never going to be allowed the drop to the pub league!
# Leigh were always going to be saved from the drop the championship 1
# Widnes are definitely going to be awarded a SL franchise regardless of mitigating circumsatnces!
# SL will never be split into two factions to afford lesser teams a better ride!
# Red hall is a proffessional, and enterprising entity with integrity for the game!

Karl cheers now move on the KEAR IS HERE!

Batley will draw Dewsbury. The RFL will want to make sure there's no chance of that being the final!

Whitehaven-Fax game has been abandoned due to electrical failure with only 7 minutes on the clock. Looks like another Wednesday night trip to Cumbria for our chums from The Shay next week!

You'd have thought the Fax fans would have been innovative and organised a bucket collection which we all know they are very good at!
