Any truth in the rumours of our Jonny heading to the haven??
Supposed to be a done deal according to some from the land of jam, along with Lee Doran (ex Widnes and Barrow).
Wonder if Limmer wud do a job for us, at 32 and with Matty and Peds in decent form then probably not what we're looking for at the minute (Or if you listen to haven fans it'll prob read ab bit like this "You wanted him but he told ya where to stick it")
Dodgy Dick Spaaz weaves his magic once again?!

It's good when you can screw the local tax payer and creditors then spend big 6 months later, and they had the cheek to take the high moral ground with us back in the day. At least we kept the same company and fought through administration. Rather than a "phoenix" job, still let the "morally bankrupt" get on with it, we've already beaten them three times in a row.
They are welcome to Doran should be a destabilising traveller with attitude who can't tackle from reading around on other forums. As for Johnny, we don't need a hooker, while they have already got two haven't they? So again likely to cause upset in the camp.

Good luck to the lad I say. He didn't want to leave the UK 4 or 5 years ago, but was forced. If Dick can use some influence to get him over I don't blame Jonny for taking it. Isn't he playing at Loose Forward these days though? Don't know much about Doran, but if he was that good I wouldn't have thought he'd be a free agent at the end of the NR Cup stages, unless he was too expensive for all the other clubs. Only time will tell, after winning a match, Pride of Cumbria 2010 are going to walk this league. It's good when you can screw the local tax payer and creditors then spend big 6 months later, and they had the cheek to take the high moral ground with us back in the day. It's a long time since you had a bet Nero, there is no tax to pay nowadays!!!!
If Haven are signing Johnny Limmer then it will probably be thanks to his friendship with a lad they all wanted rid of with Ged Stokes.
If Doran was available at the right price don't you think Steve McCormack would have snapped him up at Swinton which is much nearer his home and less travelling? Steve Mc would also know his capabilities from playing at Widnes and Barrow as well.
As I said on their site a week or so ago, it certainly pays dividends to go in to administration and start again debt free.
Nearly every lower league club that has gone in to administration in the past few years has come out of administration debt free and are doing as well or better than us who have kept our nose clean!!!!!!!!!
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Oh dear we are bitter little townies .limmer will not be coming they were speaking too him months ago.But they are putting together a handy squad and with the reserves to keep them fit and playing then they will do ok.Given that you also had a period in admin then you can't really call them.the difference is they have Mrs razz helping fund a good squad which you would accept any day If you could get it

And here's us thinking Haven are self supporting with their massive crowds. Why would fans of Cumbria's most successful team be bitter about Cumbria's (and possibly the Rugby League's) least successful team? (Especially seeing as we just beat you twice). Get over yourself man.Oh dear we are bitter little townies .limmer will not be coming they were speaking too him months ago.But they are putting together a handy squad and with the reserves to keep them fit and playing then they will do ok.Given that you also had a period in admin then you can't really call them.the difference is they have Mrs razz helping fund a good squad which you would accept any day If you could get it

Which two lucky Haven players would you pick then to get into this great team of yours then?
Nero saying it like it is.Is it any wonder few players will come to Town. We must be the worst fans in the league.

We were id admin, but we didnt skip out on any obligations to pay our creditors leaving many people massively worse off then go out ans start spending money on players immediately afterwards, therefore rubbing it in the noses of those poor sods who lost a lot of money. Your club are a disgrace the way they are currently conducting themselves.Oh dear we are bitter little townies .limmer will not be coming they were speaking too him months ago.But they are putting together a handy squad and with the reserves to keep them fit and playing then they will do ok.Given that you also had a period in admin then you can't really call them.the difference is they have Mrs razz helping fund a good squad which you would accept any day If you could get it

Well bully for Mrs Raaz. Friend of yours is she?
And you have the cheek to call Barrow because they are funded by Des Johnston. Isn't that being hypocritical?
It could possibly be true if Johnny Limmer could get a visa for work at somewhere in the area, maybe a big factory or similar, if there are any jobs going in these hard economical times where redundancies are many, ifyouknowwhatimean !!!!
As others have said Town went in to administration together with a creditors voluntary agreement which lasted for several years and for two years we didn't receive any Sky money as that was the rules at that time, so, yes, we did go in to admin but at least we did our best to meet some of the creditors debts and nobody walked away boasting about it.

Good to see a couple of Haven fans back on here, it's been a while (wonder why). But after two magnificent results it's quite obvious they are gonna walk this division, so maybe that's why they've re-appeared.

Well they've been saying all week if Haven win by 12 or less then both teams go through. Ten minutes gone Haven leading from a penalty smack in front of posts - floodlights fail - match abandoned!!!!!
Surely they won't get away with that!!!
