You wait and see though in tomorrows N & S it will be someone else's fault. Just watch if we don't get the blame.
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Think you will find it was someone elses fault, substation on corkikle went down knocking out not only the club but also surrounding houses.
But lets not let the truth get in the way of your pettiness.

Oh dear what a mess, uncle Dick not paid the electric bill, too much spent on Bauer & Doran I think. I am suprised they re not on direct supply from S/field, who supply everything else for them. What a joke down the road, its simple Jambos pay your bills, keep ye electric on ( robbing gits!) will do anything to con their dim-witted.

Just wait for the N&S tomorrow, Whitehaven's own William Joyce will have the propaganda machine in full swing. Any bets he mentions they were leading 2-0 when the lights went off and Whitehaven were on the way to a famous victory.
Rugby League must be a great game to survive the fools at the RFL who run it.

Out of interest I tuned into Radio Cumbria last night with a view to listening to the match commentary of John Cox. I only counted a total of 9 ridiculous comments before coverage was cut-off. I was feeling a bit down in the dumps to be honest, and I was hoping his one-eyed idiocy would cheer me up a bit. Had to resort to going to the pub instead.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

Them Haven fans are pathetic.... they can't take a joke, but are quick enough to try and take the micky out of Town....
Well, the way they are spending money it won't be long before Admin calls again.... they didn't learn their lesson last time about spending money on out of county players.... Doran and co won't have come cheap...
