Every day several of them spend most of their time slagging Town off on their site, which they believe is fair, but as soon as something about them appears on here they are up in arms. That must be another of their rules, eh?
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

According to the N&S tonight it was the best 10 min of attacking rugby seen at the wreck since Dick Huddart was in his pomp. After over 100 years of rugby league its now been admitted that the powers have got it wrong..after the awesome 10 minute display by whitehaven (before the 50p went)it became clear that at 2-0 and match clearly won there is no longer any need to play 80 minutes ever again..inter changes will still be in play with changes recomended roughly every minute or so.....well if they can talk total sh*te so can I..

Quote from Cox..... "Was it a hooter or a mercy call" as Haven thrashed 60-6!!!
clubs supporters thought they were going to win.
I would think Seeds must be under pressure after another dismal home defeat.
