whatever team is picked, with respect to Warrington Wizards it should be a comfortable win.who would you put in to get some decent game time and who would you rest to make sure they are ok for the york league game?
i think id rest dave march and tom haughey and possibly grimmer to make sure no injuries, id like to see elliot kear at full back and maybe mcloughlan at scrum half with ratcliffe at 6 and yates at prop with dooler and harding getting a start.

If that's the case we should put 60 in them

Will it be that easy? Anyone expect an upsets? The Gateshead and Skolars game will prob be closest

Have you not noticed that the Skolars are in some very decent form at the minute? I'd expect them to progress comfortably given their recent showing against York and Toulouse. I've got a mate who has whacked £50.00 on Hunslet Warriors with a 46 start against Oldham. Not sure what the odds are for the bet, but I'd say that Mark Cunningham et al. have a great chance of going there and turning them over.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

Not so sure Hawkeye, they've got a good mix of proven amateurs and ex pros - some who would trouble most Championship 1 defences. I reckon there's a very good chance of an upset. Having said that, they'll probably get crushed now.

I say pick the strongest squad, get a massive win, and give the team a big boost.

Closest today was Doncaster v Thatto Heath - only 12 in it. Skolars won by 36 points and Gateshead by 22

Just shows that there is a clear gap, Leigh Miners did score 26 points against Barrow which is a good effort

Full strength team then eh ... be interesting to see who's in the 17 today in that case. I wouldn't have been surprised if Marchy had dropped himself for this one (Grimshaw and Ratcliffe at half-back) ... see how the team goes without him and allow him to get a different perspective on things from the sidelines.
I guess most people going this afternoon will be expecting a bit of a procession but we'll have to see. What I do hope to see is the wingers and centres stretching their legs and finding their try-scoring edge. Just one try from the three-quarter line from the four NR Cup games ... sticks out like a sore thumb in terms of where we need to improve to match it at Championship Level.
Good luck to Hunslet Warriors in their tie at Oldham.
