Lord give me srength.
Just when you thought that muppet Cox couldn't any worse than past performances he goes and plays a first half blinder tonight.
He must have repeated the phrases 'he hasn't give it' and 'they've got away with it' at least 20 times in the first half. When are the BBC going to put this clown out to grass, he's become an embarassment to Radio Cumbria and West Cumbrian rugby league.
Without looking at the score, I am guessing Whitehaven are losing :-)
15-Jan-2012 Workington Town 26 Whitehaven 18
26-Feb-2012 Workington Town 44 Whitehaven 16
06-Apr-2012 Whitehaven 12 Workington Town 30
24-Jun-2012 Workington Town 30 Whitehaven 28
16-Sep-2012 Workington Town 26 Whitehaven 2
29-Mar-2013 Workington Town 28 Whitehaven 16
21-Apr-2013 Workington Town 16 Whitehaven 12
Is beating the Tax Dodgers getting boring - NOT A CHANCE!!

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Maybe if we took your advice Keith they might get shot of him, he's ruined my Sunday dinner for too many years now.Let's be honest here, you know what you are going to get before you switch on so it should not be a surprise to anyone. The people at Radio Cumbria have had complaints not only from Town fans but also fans of other clubs but they are quite happy to accept that he is biased towards Haven. The fact that people keep switching off doesn't matter with them and it seems that they hang on his every word. So, the answer is "don't listen" when you know he is going to be the main match.

Keith he makes most games so bad that even some Haven fans don't listen to them any more (I'm one that cant listen). I now rely on text messages from away games to get score updates because I just can't bring myself to listen to the comentry. If you do happen to listen to the game you can tell instantly from his tone of voice how its going, you'll be lucky to get any score updates though whichever way its going, but he does give a nice run down of the weather and any views of the surrounding area
Nero saying it like it is.Is it any wonder few players will come to Town. We must be the worst fans in the league.
