quote from one fan - I felt sorry for the stewards when they drew level at 16-16 their fans threw bottles, beer & plastic cups
at them and verbally abused them all through the game
and another - they intentionally kicked the hoardings
off but when the stewards asked them to stop kicking them they did it even more
and again - I've never seen so many police at a rugby game.

Whoah whoah , credit to players YES , but and a BIG BLOODY BUT fans are a F***ing disgrace , some thrown out before even kick off , advertising boards kicked off fencing police had to be phoned (arrests made ) 90% warriors fans just turned up to booze the day away and ruin it for everyone by acting like idiots credit to those fans from warriors that turned their heads and didnt associate themselves with them , Really hope Oldham report this to rfl and something seriously done about it . plain and simple most of real supporters of rugby league would be shocked at these mindless idiots

Why is an Oldham supporter trying to cause trouble by posting total fabrication on Hunslet Hawks website.
Facts - 3 Hunslet Warriors supporters were spoken to by police who took matters no further.
Damage to hoarding amounted to a broken cable tie and nothing more.
Hunslet Warriors did themselves and their supporters proud today, were by far the better team and didn`t even complaian about having to pour bottled water over themselves to get washed after the game.

FACTS
the warriors may have done their supporters proud, but it was a shame that it wasnt reciprocated by the gang that decided to ignore any and every instruction from all stewards today. 3 hunslet fans were arrested, and then de-arrested when it was concluded that only the fixing ties were broken, and a crack in one of the hoardings was the only damage, which judging by the battering and kicking they were taking was extremely lucky.
police may have taken no further action after discussions with the club, but those fans are now banned from Whitebank Stadium, and more than likely, reciprocal bans will be issued from their professional clubs once the match commissioner and the Ground Safety Officer have sent their reports to the RFL and Hunslet and Leeds.
Rugby League is a family spectator sport, but today many younger fans, including my own children were left distressed and worried by the actions of the warriors fans. Today, the warriors fans broke ground rules and regulations that are in operation in EVERY single ground in the RFL......several incidences of foul and abusive language, criminal damage and an assault on a steward.....and as expected a cowardly one from behind, where the assaillant couldn't be identified. Even a staff member of the warriors had to be reprimanded and restrained by the match commissioner for kicking the hoardings and unleashing a tirade of verbal abuse against the linesman.

and once again oldham supporters will think hunslet hawks are trouble. which is
certainly not the case. not long ago in the northern rail cup game at oldham
i witnessed and heard what a certain oldham supporter called our supporters
which he claimed hunslet supporters are racist.
we will never go to watch the scum over the river ever
